Datastage Developer Consultant - FR/EN

Since 2017, NSI Luxembourg PSF has been operating as a provider of value-added IT services (Agile application development, ERP, cloud infrastructure, support, AI, etc.) for clients in both the private and public sectors.
We offer a flexible approach combining consulting and fixed-price projects, in order to address the specific challenges of each client.

As part of our growth, we are currently looking for a Datastage Developer / Consultant who speaks French & English.

Your main responsibilities as a Consultant:

·        Designing, developing, and deploying DataStage ETL jobs for data extraction, transformation, and loading across multiple data sources.

·        Managing and delivering user stories from the backlog, ensuring compliance with business requirements and standards in terms of performance, data quality, availability, and security

·        Maintaining and supporting data integration applications and ETL workflows

·        Actively participating in Agile ceremonies (daily meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives)

·        Writing and executing tests (unit, integration, functional/non-functional) to ensure reliability and data integrity

·        Troubleshooting and resolving data pipeline issues and incidents in collaboration with Ops/Production teams

·        Monitoring and managing the lifecycle of data integration processes and ensuring proper documentation

·        Contributing to data governance, risk management and documentation of ETL processes

·        Continuously improving technical expertise in DataStage, ETL and data engineering practices

Your profile:

• You have at least 3 years of experience in Datastage development

• Master or Bachelor degree in IT

• Fluent in French with a professional level in English

Technical Skills:

• ETL tool (Data Stage)

• Data warehousing concepts & techniques (dimensional modelling)

• SQL and PL/SQL languages

• Oracle Databases

• Operating systems (Windows, Linux, …)

• Reporting tool (Business Objects or others)

• Knowledge of Git, Azure DevOps, SAS and Python.

Soft Skills:

• Ability to work in an agile/DevOps collaborative environment (Agile/Scrum, Continuous Delivery, Automated testing)

• Ability to take initiatives and responsibilities

• Ability to adapt and anticipate

• Easy communication, adapted to the interlocutors, clear and synthetic
